Google AdWords Editor – Save Time with your PPC Campaigns

Those that use Google AdWords will agree that although the online interface is user friendly, making multiple changes to complex accounts can become cumbersome. My introduction to the AdWords Editor application has helped me to streamline my account setups, and daily account maintenance. Google AdWords editor is a standalone software application that downloads the structure and content of your AdWords account and lets you perform fast, easy changes.

This video, demonstrating how to post changes, shows the user interface of AdWords Editor.

  • Search and Replace - You can perform a global search and replace operations to change any text – in keywords and ad copy, and even bid price.
  • Multiple Accounts - You can download and store multiple accounts to edit later – again, no internet connection required!
  • Export Summary – The application allows you to download the account, or changes that you have made, into a HTML file. This can then be sent to clients for review – the structure is immediately apparent and changes can be referenced easily.

The application has many other features that some might find more beneficial than the features that I have highlighted. Overall, AdWords Editor is an essential AdWords management tool for any Search Engine Marketer that works with Google AdWords.
