Countless people have been victims of what can only be described as trickery. The result of this kind of advertising or marketing is either a conversion (sale) or annoying a potential customer.

When Facebook first launched, many bosses bemoaned the amount of time employees spent using it in working hours while others swore they would never be part of that kind of social environment. It was labelled ‘a time-waster’.
But as the social media networks grew more popular and more influential, so did another ‘time-wasting’ facet: Mobile phone applications.

Our expected trend for Social media in 2012 is that businesses will not continue interacting with their consumers across all the social networks available. We expect that businesses will select the social network that works the best for them and FOCUS on that one (or two). These social networks will be the ones in which the most qualified and most profitable customers (for the business) frequent the most.

For those who don’t understand the concept of search engine optimisation (SEO), or even know what it is, they would probably have heard of “keywords”. In essence, SEO is the ability to make copy on your website work for you by using keywords to attract the attention of the search engines.
The idea is to use pre-selected keywords a certain number of times on each page to promote what is called “website ranking”. The search engines rank your pages according to the way they have been set up. This applies to design and content.
